Diverse

A stable, resistant network will be ``ecologically diverse'', just like a real ecosystem:

• Different peers tuned with different parameters
• Targeted searches working with acquired knowledge
• ``Tracer-bullet'' searches to find distant peers

Again, network-simulation experiments will be helpful in determining the effects differently-tuned peers have on the network as a whole.
