Robust

We hope to have many kinds of participating peers, including those on dial-up lines and dynamic IP addresses. So we need the Alvis network to be:

• Robust to peers suddenly going away
• Robust to peers' addresses changing
• Robust to whole sections of the network disappearing

We want the network to be self-healing.
